OUR STORY

AGAVEZ and our first line of Tequila Sodas were born from our time in Jalisco, Mexico. We fell in love with the culture surrounding tequila — from the way agave is grown and harvested to a craft of distilling that has been passed down for generations.

We wanted to bring that inspiration back home to Amsterdam, but give it an urban twist of our own: 100% agave tequila, canned and blended with club soda and natural fruit flavour.

Born in Jalisco. Made for Amsterdam.

We were stunned by the craftsmanship we experienced in Jalisco. Knowledge that has been passed down for generations — from harvesting the agave to fermentation and distillation. A process where time, patience and tradition still matter.

We tasted our way through many different tequilas, but kept coming back to one: 100% agave blanco tequila. Its pure and smooth character became the foundation for our first Tequila Soda line.

The agave behind it can take years to fully mature. Our tequila then goes through an extended fermentation process — up to four times longer than conventional production — creating the smooth character we were looking for.

No added sugars. No unnecessary complexity. Just 100% agave tequila at the heart of every AGAVEZ Tequila Soda.

We didn't want to change the craft. We wanted to build something new around it.

What we discovered in Jalisco eventually became the foundation of AGAVEZ: pure, crafted and accessible.

We believe a great drink doesn't need to hide behind a massive list of ingredients. When the foundation is good, you can keep things simple.

So that's exactly what we did.
